Kistarcsa

Kistarcsa is a town located in Pest County, within the Budapest metropolitan area of Hungary. It served as the site of a concentration camp during the Holocaust and later as an internment camp for political prisoners in the 1950s. Archaeological findings indicate habitation since the Neolithic Era, with successive settlements by Celts, Avars, and Magyars.
