Kitzingen

Kitzingen is a town in Bavaria, serving as the capital of the Kitzingen district. Historically, it was a free imperial city around the year 1000, frequently changing rulers, often under the Würzburg prince-bishops. The town experienced religious shifts, with a forced expulsion of Protestants in 1629 followed by a later Edict of Toleration.
