Klášterec nad Ohří is a town in the Chomutov District, Ústí nad Labem Region. Founded by Benedictine monks from Postoloprty between 1150-1250, it gained prominence for its porcelain production. The Thun und Hohenstein princes, original owners of the porcelain factory, were expelled in 1945.
