Summary

About the place: Kleinenbroich is a district of the town of Korschenbroich in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in the Lower Rhine region, close to Mönchengladbach.

Flag Description: Vertical banner consisting of three vertical stripes of red-yellow-red (with narrower red outer stripes). In the upper third of the broad yellow central stripe is the municipal coat of arms. The shield features a red-and-yellow chequy pattern (six columns and five rows) with a white canton in the upper dexter corner (upper left from the viewer's perspective) depicting a bishop's head wearing a blue and yellow mitre.

Symbolism: The red and yellow colors derive from the historical arms of the Lordship of Myllendonk, to which Kleinenbroich historically belonged. The bishop shown in the canton represents Saint Dionysius (or Saint Remigius), patron saint of the local parish.
