Summary
Klevan is a rural settlement in Rivne Raion, Rivne Oblast, western Ukraine. First founded in the 12th century on the Stubla River, it was initially named Kolyvan. The town received Magdeburg rights in 1654 from King John II Casimir Vasa, establishing fairs and markets.
