Korop

Korop is a rural settlement in the Novhorod-Siverskyi Raion of the Chernihiv Oblast, northern Ukraine. It serves as the administrative center for the Korop settlement hromada. The settlement's name originates from the Ukrainian word for 'carp', reflected in its coat of arms.
