Kotoura, Tottori

Kotoura is a town in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, situated in the Tōhaku District. Historically, it was part of ancient Hōki Province and served as a center for animal husbandry during the Heian period. Archaeological finds, like a Yayoi period settlement and a bronze sword, indicate prosperity in the area since ancient times.
