Summary

Koziatyn is a city in the Vinnytsia Oblast of central Ukraine, situated on the banks of the Huiva River. Founded during the construction of the Kyiv-Balta railway in 1874, it briefly fell under Polish control during the Polish-Bolshevik War. The city was occupied by German forces during WWII, becoming part of Reichskommissariat Ukraine.
