Kranenburg, Lower Saxony

Kranenburg is a municipality in the Stade district of Lower Saxony, Germany, situated on the Oste river. It comprises the villages of Kranenburg and Brobergen, and is part of the Samtgemeinde Oldendorf-Himmelpforten. The area features the 'Hollander Höfe' on the Oste's left bank, historically the ancestral seat of the von Brobergen family.
