Summary

Kreminna is a city in Sievierodonetsk Raion, Luhansk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, situated in the historic region of Sloboda Ukraine. Founded in 1680, it received city status in 1938 and hosts a local newspaper since 1943. During the 2022 Russian invasion the city changed hands repeatedly and was heavily contested, with Russian forces claiming it after September 2022.
