Summary
Kruiningen is a village in the Dutch province of Zeeland, part of the municipality of Reimerswaal, located about 5 km south of Yerseke. It lies on the Bergen op Zoom–Vlissingen railway and formerly hosted the Kruiningen‑Perkpolder ferry until its 2003 closure. The settlement, built on former islands, suffered severe damage in the 1953 flood and features the 15th‑16th‑century Johanneskerk and the 1801 octagonal windmill De Oude Molen.
