Kruisem is a municipality in the Belgian province of East Flanders, formed on 1 January 2019 by merging the former municipalities of Kruishoutem and Zingem. It covers 71.59 km² and comprises the deelgemeentes Huise, Kruishoutem, Nokere, Ouwegem, Wannegem‑Lede and Zingem. The Christian Democratic and Flemish party holds a majority in the municipal council, with Joop Verzele serving as mayor.
