Summary
Krynica-Zdrój is a spa town in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland, located in the Beskids mountains. First mentioned in 1547, it received town rights in 1889 and became a leading health resort thanks to Józef Dietl in the 19th century. The town hosted the 1931 World Ice Hockey Championships and several luge world championships.
