Kumenan

Kumenan is a town situated in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, known for its mountainous terrain and location on the Kibi Plateau. It historically belonged to the ancient Mimasaka Province and was formed through mergers of several villages in the mid-20th century. The town is also significant as the birthplace of Honen, a key figure in Jodo Buddhism.
