Kumiyama is a town in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, situated on an alluvial plain formed by the Kizugawa River. Historically part of Yamashiro Province, it was under direct Tokugawa shogunate control during the Edo period. The town was formed in 1954 by the merger of Sayama and Mimaki villages.
