Summary
Kutno is situated in the Łódź Voivodeship, approximately 20 kilometers northwest of Poland's geographical center. In 1775, Andrzej Zamoyski sold Kutno to Stanisław Gadomski, the voivode of Łęczyca. Under Gadomski's rule, Kutno became a significant administrative and economic center in central Poland.
