Landerneau

Landerneau is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany, France, situated at the mouth of the Elorn River. Historically, it was a significant center for flax and linen production during the 16th and 17th centuries. The town is also known for its nickname, 'La Lune de Landerneau', originating from a story about a noble's comparison to a silver disc atop Saint Houardon Church.
