Lanivtsi is a city located in Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine, and serves as the administrative center of the Lanivtsi urban hromada. It received town privileges in 1545 from the Polish king and historically belonged to the Volhynian Voivodeship. During WWII, the city was occupied by Nazi Germany, resulting in the tragic murder of over 1,800 Jews in a ghetto.
