Launceston, Tasmania

Launceston is a city in northern Tasmania, Australia, situated at the meeting point of the North and South Esk rivers, forming the Tamar River. Founded in March 1806, it's one of Australia's oldest cities, known for its historic architecture. It was initially named Patersonia, later changed to honor Launceston, Cornwall.
