Summary
Lębork is situated on the Łeba and Okalica rivers in Gdańsk Pomerania, northern Poland. Founded on a Slavic settlement from the 10th century, it became Lauenburg under the Teutonic Knights in 1310. The town joined the Prussian Confederation in 1440, seeking protection against the Teutonic Order.
