Limbourg

Limbourg is a city and municipality in the Liège Province of Wallonia, Belgium, situated along the Vesdre river. Historically, it served as the seat of the Duchy of Limburg within the Lower Lorraine region of the Holy Roman Empire. The town's strategic hilltop location provided a military advantage during the Middle Ages.
