Lipnice nad Sázavou is a town in the Havlíčkův Brod District, Vysočina Region. The town received its municipal rights in 1370 from King Charles IV and lost them in the 19th century, regaining them in 2019. It is known for Lipnice Castle and as the final residence of writer Jaroslav Hašek.
