Lipová-lázně is a spa municipality in the Jeseník District, Olomouc Region. Historically, the area was part of the Duchy of Nysa within fragmented Piast-ruled Poland in 1290. The town was the site of the 'Freiwaldau Strike' in 1931, a violent clash between police and striking stoneworkers.
