Summary

Loveland is located in Hamilton, Clermont, and Warren counties in southwestern Ohio, near the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Originally settled in 1795 by Colonel Thomas Paxton, it was initially named after him before being renamed Loveland in 1850. The city once thrived as a railroad town and a resort known as "Little Switzerland of the Miami Valley".
