Summary
Matysová is a village located in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia, within the Stará Ľubovňa District. First mentioned in historical records in 1408, it was historically part of Sáros County in the Kingdom of Hungary. The village was briefly part of the Slovak Republic during World War II before being re-integrated into Czechoslovakia in 1945.
