Summary
About the place: Meziměstí is a town located in the Náchod District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic, near the border with Poland. Situated in the Broumov Basin, it is known as an important railway border hub.
Flag Description: The flag consists of two vertical sections. At the hoist side, there is a white vertical stripe occupying four-tenths of the flag's width, bearing three red roses with yellow centers and green sepals arranged vertically. The remaining larger area is a green field featuring a yellow mouflon head facing forward.
Symbolism: The mouflon head in the green field references the rich nature, forests, and local tradition of mouflon game keeping in the surrounding Broumov region. The three red roses in the white hoist stripe are a historical element derived from the coat of arms of the abbots of the Broumov Monastery, to which the town's history was closely tied.
