Summary
Mielec is a significant industrial city and the seat of Mielec County in south-eastern Poland. It is home to the Euro-Park Mielec Special Economic Zone and the professional soccer club Stal Mielec. The city was officially chartered in 1457 by King Casimir IV for the Mielecki family.
