Mogi Guaçu

Mogi Guaçu is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, with a name likely originating from the Tupi language meaning large river of snakes. The city was founded in 1877 and features the Mogi-Guaçu Biological Reserve, a fully protected conservation area established in 1942. It is also home to the Autódromo Velo Città, a prominent motorsport racetrack opened in 2012.
