Monschau

Monschau is a historic resort town in the Eifel region of western Germany, known for its well-preserved half-timbered architecture. The town is dominated by a 13th-century castle that served as a seat for the dukes of Jülich for centuries. It gained tactical significance during World War II as a key location during the Battle of the Bulge.
