Monte Quemado

Monte Quemado is a municipality and the capital city of the Copo Department in the Santiago del Estero Province of Argentina. It is situated within the Chaco Austral region near the El Impenetrable phytogeographic zone. The town's development was historically driven by the Salado River and the expansion of the General Manuel Belgrano Railway.
