Munster, Lower Saxony

Munster is a town in the Heidekreis district of Lower Saxony, Germany, located between Hamburg and Hanover. It is home to the largest garrison of the German Army and features extensive military training areas. The town was first recorded in 1252 and maintains a strong military character.
