Summary
Nagiso is a town located in the Kiso Valley of Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It developed during the Edo period as a series of post stations along the Nakasendō highway connecting Edo and Kyoto. The modern town was established in 1968 through the merger of the villages of Yomikaki, Tsumagoi, and Tadachi.
