The shield is divided horizontally into an upper blue field and a lower yellow field, with a split base at the bottom. The upper blue field features three golden ears of wheat in the center, flanked by silver agricultural tools (a flail on the viewer's left and a scythe on the right). The lower yellow field displays a church tower with an adjacent building and a traditional village house. In the split base, there is a silver eight-pointed star in the left blue field and a cross in the right yellow field. Above the shield floats a yellow ribbon bearing the blue inscription 'NAGYDOBSZA'.

The ears of wheat, flail, and scythe symbolize the agricultural heritage and hard work of the local population. The church and traditional house represent local architectural identity and community life. The star and cross in the base recall the religious history and spiritual roots of the village (Reformed and Catholic traditions).
