Nagyrécse

About the place: Nagyrécse is a village in Zala County, Hungary, located in close proximity to the city of Nagykanizsa. It is situated in the gently rolling landscape of southwestern Hungary.

Flag Description: A vertically oriented flag featuring diagonal stripes of alternating yellow and blue. In the upper half, the coat of arms of the municipality is displayed. It consists of a shield quartered by a silver/white cross: the first blue field contains a red cross bottony, the second green field shows crossed agricultural tools (cereal flail, pitchfork, and scythe), the third green field features a golden lion holding a sword and a severed head, and the fourth blue field depicts a red crayfish. The shield is adorned at the top with green and red mantling.

Symbolism: The diagonal blue and yellow stripes form the flag's background.
