Nakatosa is a town located in the Takaoka District of Kōchi Prefecture on the island of Shikoku. Historically part of the Tosa Domain, the area was governed by the Yamauchi clan from Kōchi Castle. The modern town was formed through the merger of several villages and the town of Kure.
