Ōamishirasato

Īamishirasato is a city in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, situated about 50–60 km east of central Tokyo. The municipality stretches longitudinally, comprising the hilly Oami district in the west, the agricultural Masuho district centrally, and the coastal Shirasato district facing the Pacific Ocean. It attained city status on 1 January 2013 and operates a mayor‑council government with an 18‑member council.
