Summary

Łobżenica is a town in Piła County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland, with origins in the 11th century. It received town rights in the 14th century, likely from King Ladislaus the Short or Casimir III, and became a private town in the Kalisz Voivodeship. The settlement suffered Teutonic raids in 1431 and 1457, hosted a mint from 1612‑1630, and was a Reformation centre under the Grudziński family before being annexed by Prussia after the partitions.
