Pass Christian, Mississippi

Pass Christian is a city in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States, and part of the Gulfport‑Biloxi metropolitan area. The settlement was first noted by French explorers in 1699 and named after Nicholas Christian L'Adnier, who lived on nearby Cat Island. It was chartered as a town in 1848 and later became a popular resort before the Civil War.
