Summary
Patapoklosi is a village in Szigetvár district, Baranya county, Hungary, located at the foot of Zselic northwest of the town of Szigetvár. It was formed on 6 September 1950 by merging the former market towns Pata and Poklosi, which had medieval origins and were depopulated during the Ottoman wars. The settlement was resettled by Hungarians in the 17th century and suffered a severe cholera epidemic in 1836.
