Peremyshliany is a small city in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine, serving as the administrative center of Peremyshliany urban hromada. First mentioned in 1437, it historically belonged to Poland's Ruthenian Voivodeship until the Partitions of Poland. The town received Magdeburg rights in 1623 and experienced economic growth with the arrival of the Lviv-Pidhaitsi railroad in 1909.
