Petrich

Petrich is a town in southwestern Bulgaria, situated in the Sandanski–Petrich Valley near the Belasica Mountains. It serves as the administrative center of the Petrich Municipality and is close to the borders of Greece and North Macedonia. The town's history traces back to Thracian and Roman settlements, with evidence of a Roman fortress named Petra.
