Pićan is a village and municipality in central Istria, Croatia, situated 12 km southeast of Pazin at an elevation of 360m. Historically, a Roman military stronghold named Petina was located in the area. The town served as the seat of the first diocese in central Istria from the 5th to 18th centuries.
