Połaniec

Połaniec is a town in Staszów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland, historically significant since the early Polish statehood. It lies within the Sandomierz Basin, near the Vistula river, and served as an important trade center in the Middle Ages. The town experienced destruction during the Mongol invasion and later faced challenges as a border town after the First Partition of Poland.
