Summary
Potzneusiedl is the smallest village in the Neusiedl am See district of Burgenland, Austria. Archaeological finds indicate settlement since the Younger Stone Age and Roman periods. The village was donated to the Bishopric of Passau in 833 by King Louis II, and later owned by the Harrach, Bender, and Batthyány families.
