Priekulė, Lithuania

Priekulė is a small town in western Lithuania, situated on the Minija River. Historically part of Lithuania Minor, it was initially a village named Paminia in the 16th century. The town's name is believed to originate from a tavern owner, Lukas Preckol, and it experienced periods under Polish-Lithuanian, Prussian, and German rule.
