Puerto Cabezas

Puerto Cabezas, also known as Bilwi, is a municipality and city in Nicaragua, serving as the capital of the Miskito nation. Originally called Bragman's Bluff by English traders, it became a company town due to lumber operations in the early 20th century. The city served as a transportation hub and was notably used as a launch point for the Bay of Pigs Invasion.
