Summary

Ramat HaSharon is a city in Israel's central coastal strip, bordering Tel Aviv, Hod-HaSharon, and Herzliya. Originally established as Ir Shalom in 1923 by Polish immigrants, it was renamed Kfar Ramat HaSharon in 1932. Archaeological excavations in 2021 revealed a Byzantine and Early Islamic settlement with a wine press and coins from Emperor Heraclius.
