Recz is a town in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, situated on the intersection of national road 10 and voivodeship road 151. Historically, it was part of the Polish state under Mieszko I in the 10th century, later transitioning to Bohemian rule under the Luxembourg dynasty in the 14th century. The town experienced periods under Teutonic Order control and Prussian/German administration before returning to Poland after WWII.
