Requena, Spain

Requena is a municipality in the province of Valencia, Spain, situated on the Magro river's left bank. Historically, it served as a Moorish fortress in the mountainous region of Las Cabrillas. The town retains remnants of its original walls and features ancient parish churches, including San Nicolás dating back to the 13th century.
