Summary
Rialto is a city located in San Bernardino County, California, approximately 56 miles east of Los Angeles. The area was initially inhabited by the Serrano Indians between 1500 and 1800 AD, evidenced by archaeological artifacts. Named after the Rialto Bridge in Venice, Italy, the city developed alongside a new railroad line in 1887.
